There are plenty of references to Glock-brand firearms in rap songs. Glock, as we all know, is a company based in Austria that manufactures firearms and knives. There are also occasional references to Colt firearms, or the Military Armament Corporation, which manufactures the beloved MAC-10 pistol.

But what about other firearms manufacturers like Steyr, Benelli, Ceska Zbrojovka, FN Herstal, Kahr, Walther, Norinco, KBP, Ruger, SIG, Star Bonifacio, Tanfoglio, Taurus, Denel, Zastava, or others?

Man, there's a whole WORLD of gunmakers out there! And many of them make awesome and powerful firearms.

Why don't rappers refer to the full spectrum of manufacturers in their songs? Why limit themselves to Glock and MAC?
A "Glock" is NOT "a gun;" Glock is a manufacturer OF guns. For instance, a Glock 19 is a gun. "Glock" always refers to the corporation 'Glock GmbH,' which is the legal name of Glock firearms.

For example, Ferfrans Specialties is a Philippine-based company that specializes in making firearms and firearm upgrades. It aims to provide basic modern weaponry to the Philippine National Police and the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Okay, so assuming that this company does very well in making weapons that are such as good in the USA, do they get their materials to make the weapons (mostly rifles and mini-guns), such as the lead, metals, plastics, etc., from other countries or do they take the weapon-making materials from their own country? Surely a country even the Philippines have lead (for the bullets), plastics (polymyers), and other metals right? Because if they don't, they might as well order the weapons directly from foreign countries instead of ordering the materials to make the weapond and then making it themselves, right?

Is the same situation true for other weapon-making companies such as Heckler and Koch, Colt, etc? I mean, do the materials they use to make weapons, such as rifles, come from their own country or do they buy these from other countries?

I DO MEAN REAL RIFLES AND GUNS, NOT PAINTBALL OR AIRSOFT OR EVEN TOY PELLET GUN ONES.

The pistol I am interested in acquiring is the Thunder 5 pistol that chambers both .410 gauge and .45 long colt ammunition. I have checked that the company that manufactured the pistol, (MIL, Piney Flats, Tn.) is on the list of approved firearms. The problem that has risen is that to get the firearm shipped into the state, a ballistic fingerprinted bullet would be required that was fired by the manufacturer. However, MIL went out of business in the late 90's so I am currently unsure of how to go about getting the said fingerprinted bullet. I've asked around at the local gun store but they were unsure of how to solve this problem as well. Thank you for your time and I appreciate any feedback.

I am thinking of opening a hunting shop, I would like to sell firearms as well as hunting acessories. Does anyone know how I can obtain a wholesale account with firearm companies such as mossberg, remington, colt, glock, etc?

I think I have a good set. My theme is weapons(firearms), (ex: someone with flowers would draw/make flowers in a small images to for one big one and mirror each other, I have:

FIREARMS(aesthetically, the best looking guns, if you know your guns, name them, try not to name all the guns from the same company like colt for revolvers):
Pistols 4
Revolvers 4
Auto/Sub Machine Guns 4
Assault Rifles 4
Sniper Rifles 3
Shotguns 3

Thanks.
Lol, yeah it does. We pick a topic, then a random number from a hat. I'm just glad I didn't pick 73. =D

I would like to start a company making firearms, and I have a few ideas that are not on the market and would like to know if there is interest in them.

I would like to make bolt action rifles in .223 or .308 with the following features:

Controlled round feed (Mauser style action)
Integral Weaver scope mounts
Feeds from an AR15 or M1A (M14) magazines
Has AR15 style flip-up backup iron sights (BUIS)
22 inch button rifled, target crowned barrels (tyring to get sub-MOA accuracy)
Dual front sling swivels for both a sling and bipod

I want a weapon that would make a good law enforcement patrol rifle, sportsman's rifle, all purpose firearm. I will do my best to bring it in at a reasonable price, under $700 if I can, under $1000 will be a must.

So what do people think? Would you buy it? Is my estimated price too high for the features I mentioned?

I have other ideas I would like to try as well:

A Thompson Contender pistol upper capable of handling .460 S&W, 454 Casull, .45 Colt and 3 inch .410 Gauge with external muzzle threading for a muzzle break or external threaded choke tube (no wrench required), adjustable fiber optic iron sights AND weaver rail, for the ultimate survival handgun.

A modern high capacity, locked breach handgun in 7.62x25 Tokarev.

I would be thankful for any feedback on these ideas

I know there is a .45 Colt/.410 Gauge barrel for the Contender, I have one. There are two problems with it.
1) it will handle the high pressure .45 colt loads, but they are expensive and hard to find in stores.
2) you have to use a choke wrench to remove the choke

Since 454 casull is a easy cartridge to find now days, and is cheaper than the Buffalo Bore .45 Colt, and all three use the same rifling twist and the chamber is deep enough for a .410 you just need to make the barrel pressure rated for the .460 S&W. And with an external threaded barrel, you will not need a wrench to remove the choke, making the switch between shotgun and pistol faster, and if in a pinch you had to fire the shot shell with the choke off the gun, you will not damage the threads.
Let me just say:
I have been a life long shooter and sportsman. I have competed at Camp Perry in service rifle. I have served with the Army and local law enforcement. I have a masters degree and working on a PhD in metallurgical engineering, and have worked as a machinist and in fab shops.

These ideas are things that in my experience I would like to own, and am curious if there are other people who would like them or would like to add options or their own ideas. Please, I ask you nicely, don't use this question to just insult me.

I was wondering if the Colt firearms company was a publicly traded company that I could buy stock in.

I have a padlock with colt firearms company and the number 17 stamped on it.
